Utilizing a Wisdom perspective, I meet with individuals, groups, and wisdom leaders in person and virtually in a process I call Wisdom mentoring.

“Moving beyond assumptions of prescriptive lineage, this Wisdom work is inspired by the truth that everyone belongs in this work, that everyone has the potential for transformation, and that the formation of true community profoundly facilitates this Wisdom work.
Rather than fostering individual spiritual development, then, this work is aimed for the benefit of the greater community. This work is offered more like the scattering of seed. It is hoped that these seeds might find growing places in others and that they, in turn, will sow these seeds beyond themselves.

Winter 2025-26 Virtual Retreat
Forest Wisdom
This virtual program of recordings, “Forest Wisdom,” will take us from mid-December 2025 through early February 2026. More than just coming to appreciate the interconnection of all the trees in the forest, we will be learning how to experientially connect with the beauty and the integrity of an individual tree.
Beginning on December 14, 2025, weekly postings will continue on Sundays, right up through February 8, 2026.
Spring 2025 Virtual Retreat:
A Wisdom Journey:
Conversations between Heather Vesey & Bill Redfield
This virtual program of recordings, “A Wisdom Journey” will follow Heather’s thoughtful conversations with Bill. Relishing the opportunity to “give him some of his own medicine,” Heather will work to uncover the Wisdom through-line in Bill’s life journey. Besides unpacking and assisting Bill in re-interpreting some of his own life experiences through the arc of his life, Heather will be demonstrating Wisdom Mentoring’s desire for one to help another understand more deeply his or her own life journey and purpose. Thus, the listener may come to a deeper and richer understanding of his or her own life by opening to this series of conversations and reflections about Bill’s life.
Beginning in late March 2025, weekly postings will continue right up to mid-June.

Wisdom Mentoring: A Journey to Love
This virtual program of recordings, “Wisdom Mentoring: A Journey to Love,” will take us through the fall and right up until Thanksgiving. Distinctive among other approaches of working to enhance another’s healing and growth, we will explore its unique dynamics in relation to Wisdom and the Wisdom transformation. Beyond a formal way of working with others, however, we will uncover within Wisdom Mentoring the basic dynamics of love and caring. Thus, this may serve as a call to us all.
Beginning on September 1, 2024, weekly postings will continue right up to mid-November.

Lent 2024 Virtual Retreat:
Rowing through Lent
This virtual program of recordings, “Rowing through Lent” will take us from the conclusion of the season of Epiphany through Lent and Holy Week, right up to Easter Sunday. Utilizing one strand that will describe the experience of rowing in an eight-person shell, and then braiding this with that strand that includes some of the more traditional liturgical readings and themes of Lent, this program intends to shed new light and understanding on the Lenten passageway. Relying on experiential encounter rather than just theoretical or theological constructs, this will be a qualitatively different means of engaging this rich season. Starting on February 1, in anticipation of Lent, there will usually be two recordings a week until Palm Sunday. Then there will be a recording every day of Holy Week, right up until Easter Sunday.

December 2023 Virtual Retreat:
Advent: The Fullness of Time
This virtual program of recordings, “Advent: The Fullness of Time,” will lead us through Advent to the Christmas celebration through a very different passageway. Relying on experiential encounter rather than just theoretical or theological constructs, this will be a qualitatively different means of engaging this rich season. Working collaboratively again, Heather Vesey and I will explore some of the depths that are often forgotten and left behind. Beginning in early December, 2023, weekly postings will continue right up to Christmas Eve.

Fall 2023 Virtual Retreat:
A Broken Hallelujah
This virtual program of recordings, “A Broken Hallelujah,” is a deeper inquiry into the dark and difficult passageways that can potentially lead to and instigate the Wisdom transformation. Working collaboratively again with Heather Vesey, we will together explore some of the depths that are often forgotten and left behind. Beginning in early September 2023, weekly postings will continue through mid-November 2023.
